Goolsby-Rosenthal Chair in Economics and Law, and Chairman, Department of Economics
Roger Meiners is the Goolsby-Rosenthal Chair in Economics and Law, and Chairman, Department of Economics, at UTA. His research focuses on the economic impact of environmental regulations. Besides his appointment at UTA, he is a Senior Fellow at the Property and Environment Research Center in Bozeman, Montana.
Recent research includes “Making Cost-Benefit a Political Tool,” with Rafal Czajkowski, Journal of Energy Law and Resources (2014) and Silent Spring at 50: The False Crises of Rachel Carson, with A. Morriss and P. Desrochers. He has published a number of books and journal articles addressing legal and economic issues concerning the environment.
