2017 Climate Corps Fellowship
This year, EDF Climate Corps plans to hire and place 120 talented graduate students from a variety of disciplines for their 2017 summer fellowship. Join the over 700 fellow alumni who have helped transform the way businesses and organizations utilize energy.
Students should apply by December 6, 2016 11:59 pm PT for early consideration and the best opportunity to be matched with their preferred host organization. The final application deadline is January 6, 2017 11:59 pm PT.
EDF Climate Corps is the premier graduate fellowship program to jump-start your career in energy management or sustainability. We match leading organizations with talented graduate students to advance the way that organizations manage energy. Fellows engage in a broad array of projects, such as equipment upgrades and building retrofits, clean energy generation and procurement, energy data analysis, and sustainability strategy.
Since 2008, EDF has deployed over 700 talented graduate students to host organizations including JP Morgan Chase, Yahoo, City of Boston, JLL, Verizon, General Motors, PG&E, Vassar College and the Chicago Housing Authority, and the results have been tremendous. Fellows have identified over $1.5 billion in potential energy savings, and have left a lasting impact on the companies they work with.
EDF Climate Corps fellows build strong relationships with their host organizations and other fellows in their class. Most EDF fellows go on to career positions in sustainability or energy management, whether at their host organizations or other entities. In addition, fellows join the vibrant EDF Climate Corps network of energy management and sustainability practitioners, which serves as a valuable resource throughout their fellowships and careers.
