Stakeholder Mapping
Throughout the North Texas region, there are many organizations working to advance the three UN Sustainable Development goals of identified importance to the RCE: SDG3 Good Health & Well-Being, SDG4 Quality Education, and SDG11 Sustainable Cities and Communities.
Our stakeholder mapping research project aimed to map both existing and potential stakeholders of the RCE network. This includes organizations both currently within the RCE North Texas and organizations not currently within the network but that are working in the three SDG identified areas of importance. This map highlights not only the importance of collaboration but the opportunity we have in North Texas to work together, partner, align visions, and collaborate towards shared goals and a common pursuit.
Our stakeholder map outlines the nonprofit entities, public sector organizations, private sector companies, and Education focused organizations that are both within and not within the RCE network and maps each organization to the respective SDGs their mission and work aligns with. Many organizations are working to address multiple SDGs and therefore are represented in multiple categories.
